I am thinking about a necron army next I love the figures especially the destroyers and am amazed at the firepower and resilence, some claim they are a dull boring army but I feel they have enough fun units such as wraiths and flayed ones and destroyers. I just hate the monolith it is an awful model, the egyptian feel is cool too and set to be the next big thing when they awake on mars. Some claim they are slow but then they have never had 5 destroyers thunder down a flank firing 3 shot str 6 weapons at BS4 ! Their ability to glance armour on a 6 from any guass weapon means the dreaded landraiders are no longer almost unstoppable and the C'tan well they are just killing machines. My planned army will have no pariahs, or immortals or scarabs or monoliths but lots of destoyers and heavy destroyers I plan to flank my foes and slice them up

Monoliths are undoubtably very good very hard to kill lots of attacks and special powers ut I just dont like the model, nor the models for the pariahs, I would much rather see a large tomb spyder based tank but thats just my opinion
