It has been edited to accomodate another 1000 Pts of Troops. Its slightly more playable now!
Here is my master roster which I am working towards completing. Here is pretty much every model that I plan on getting for my AL army cos lets face it you've gotta stop somewhere.
Its designed to be played as 2 detachments hence the 4 HS and 12 Troops selections I have decided not to collect any daemons or a dread cos the defiler is just too tasty, and I don't really need any rhinos. They leave them at the garage.
I will post a story very soon, beggininings of it already. Its well, intriguing.
I was'nt going to bother with bloodletters, I've got to summon them on to the battlefield which is a problem considering my cultists are the only unit capable of taking an icon for summoning. Thats as fragile as a box of eggs. Secondly my possessed are almost as good in combat, when they charge in force. 8 Poss will kill almost as much as 8 Bloodletters and they're just as durable. Plus I'd really like to model them.
it looks solid. I agree about stying away from the daemons. to big of a liability for us Alphas. Personlly, I don't like Terminators for Chaos, too expensive for what they do. I'd put those points into infiltrating Cosen in power armou wit all AspiringChampions and tons of close combat options. That's just me though
Our termies are a lot cheaper than SM termies, and with all PW you can really decimate squads when you make a charge. I think that is better than the PF on SM Termies. The 2+ save 5+ invuln is allright too. Oh and the extra attack which pretty much makes them all AC. In my experience any marine with a bp&ccw just tends to bounce off the marine armies I regularly play and so they are just cannon fodder. Pts wise I can get 5 termies for 200 pts. To get the same amount of kills from Chosen in PA you would need at least 3 AC w PW and a heap of fodder, say 8 Chosen in total. That actually costs more pts, isn't as resilient even with the extra 3 models, and is really pushing it to achieve the same kill ratio. Convinced yet? Termies are hella cheap for what they do. And believe it or not survivable against just about anything but Plasma, Railguns or Lascannons etc, and they still get their invuln against those. "Whats that? a krak missile, pah I shall take my 2+ save"

Oh and I've edited the post to accomodate another 1000 Pts of troops taking my list upto 4000 Pts. I want all the stuff there but I also know I need more troops to make it a workable list. On this list I'm like 20% troops, thats bad! If I add another 1000 Pts that puts the composition upto 45% which is more wokable if you ask me! Let me know what you think
